Two changes are coming to Flexmls on January 30, 2025, designed to improve functionality and align with industry standards. Here’s what’s new:
1. Floor Plans Get Their Own Media Category
Managing floor plans in Flexmls is about to get easier! A new Floor Plans section will allow users to upload and manage floor plans, similar to how photos are handled.
- Accepted File Types: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, HEIC, BMP, TIF, TIFF, PBM (no PDFs).
- File Size Limits: 15 MB or 3000 x 2000 pixels.
- Watermarks: MLS watermarks will be applied to all uploaded floor plans.
Enhanced Display
Listings with floor plans will now have a “Floor Plan” tag visible on Android, Mobile Web, and Portals, just like tags for 3D Tours or Price Changes. You can also search for listings with floor plans using Quick Search under Additional Search Options.

Migration of FlōPlan Floor Plans
If you’re using FlōPlan, all floor plans linked to listings will automatically migrate to the new category by January 31, 2025, the FlōPlan sunset date. 2. Updated Marketing Activity Labels
To improve clarity and align with industry standards, marketing activity labels in Flexmls are being updated:
- Tour of Homes will now be Broker Open House
- Open House will now be Public Open House
These updates will make it easier for agents and brokerages to use consistent, standardized terminology.
