realMLS Data Licensing Options
realMLS listing data is copyrighted and therefore requires a data licensing agreement between the vendor, the broker and the MLS. The applicable use determines which Data Licensing Agreement is required. There are four types of permitted use (IDX, VOW, Back Office and Broker’s Own Data*). Securing the appropriate licensing agreement assures your website and/or third-party application will always be up-to-date and accurate.

IDX Solution
Used to display MLS listings on your website for consumer searches and information. Includes all property types, Active, Pending, and 3 years of Sold listing data (can be requested back to January 1, 2012 if needed).

Work with an IDX Vendor
If you are working with a vendor it is important to review the rules for IDX and the IDX Data License Agreement
IDX License Agreement signature will be obtained during the online IDX data license request process
If working with an IDX Vendor you will need to confirm how they will be receiving the data
RETS Brokers please the use the Licensing system at http://realmls.redatavault.com.The IDX Request Worksheet is available to be used as a guide.
API Brokers requesting Spark API please go to https://landing.sparkplatform.com/ and signup.

The Spark API system will send out an email from donotreply@sparkplatform.com asking you to approve the vendors request.

VOW
Used to create a Virtual Office Website. Through a VOW, you are capable of providing real estate brokerage services to consumers having first established a broker-consumer relationship (as defined by Florida law). When operating a VOW, you must obtain the identity of each Registrant and their agreement to terms of use of the VOW. Data includes all property and all statuses (3 years of sold but may request data back to 01/01/2012).
If you are working with a vendor it is important to review the rules for VOW and the VOW Data License Agreement.
Vow Licensing Agreement signature will be obtained during the online VOW data license request process.
