What is the realMLS Photographer Network?

The realMLS Photographer Network is a built-in MLS feature that connects listing agents to professional real estate photographers. Accessible through the Add/Change Listing module, it simplifies the process of finding and scheduling professional photography services that help your listings stand out.

What is the benefit of using a photographer in the Network?

Photographers in the Network have agreed to licensing terms that protect your media and ensure copyright compliance, helping safeguard against misuse—while also saving time.

Is using a photographer from the Network Mandatory?

No. You’re free to use any photographer. If your preferred photographer wants to join the Network, they can visit realmls.com/realmls-photographer-network or email MediaNetwork@realmls.com for info.

Can a photographer upload and manage photos on my behalf?

Yes. One of the key benefits of using a network photographer is that they are granted access to upload, remove, reorganize, and caption media for any listings where their services were requested. This includes Active, Active Under Contract, Coming Soon, and even Incomplete listings.

Can a photographer make any changes to the listing other than uploading or managing photos?

No. Photographers only have access to manage listing media such as photos, videos, floorplans, and virtual tours. They cannot make any other changes to the listing details.

Who is responsible for photo violations?

The listing brokerage and agent remain responsible for verifying the accuracy and compliance of all media associated with their listings. Network photographers are provided with clear guidelines on what media is acceptable and what is not, but ultimate responsibility lies with the listing brokerage/agent.

Is there a fee for my agent or office to use a photographer from the Network?

There is no additional fee charged by realMLS for using network photographers. Any fees for services are negotiated directly between the listing agent and the photographer once contact is established. realMLS is not a party to these independent Service Agreements and realMLS is not responsible for any of the terms, including payment of fees.
