To improve searching functionality, effective May 1, 2025, several Yes/No (Y/N) fields will become required when adding or modifying listings in Flexmls for the following property types: Residential, Residential Income, and Land.
These fields are currently blank by default, but as of May 1, all current and future listings will require a Yes or No selection before saving or submitting a listing. This update is part of our ongoing efforts to improve data consistency and accuracy across the MLS.
New Required Y/N Fields by Property Type:
Residential & Residential Income
- Private Pool (Y/N)
- ADU – Accessory Dwelling Unit (Y/N)
- Property Attached (Y/N)
- Homestead (Y/N)
- Water Body Access (Y/N)
- Waterfront (Y/N) (Residential Income only)
- Accessibility Features (Y/N) (Residential Income only)
Land
- Private Pool (Y/N)
- Water Body Access (Y/N)
- Senior Community (Y/N)
Please Note: Updates for Commercial for Sale, Commercial for Lease, and Residential Lease property types are not included at this time. These fields are currently under review by the appropriate task forces and RESO workgroups and will be addressed in a future release.
