Dear realMLS Members,

What a time to begin my CEO journey at one of the industry’s top MLS’s!  I joked with Stephan Swanepoel I could probably write a really good article about starting this experience amidst the pandemic.

Started day two and day three with hybrid (in-person and virtual) Board of Director meetings for both NEFAR and NEFMLS.  What better way to be introduced to the dynamic leadership from which both organizations benefit.

Instead of meeting our amazing team members collectively in-person, I have spent the better part of the last two weeks having individual one-on-one meetings with each.  I am here to say how fortunate we are to have such a dedicated and professional group of individuals who are committed to empowering our members.  Sincerely, second to none!

And finally, the most important piece, you…all of our valued members who are out there making this market work in spite of new challenges.  I have also both sold and purchased real estate in the last month.  Let’s just say I have a new level of respect for each one of you and can’t wait to begin meeting you.

This brings me to the actual purpose of my note, which is to have you MARK YOUR CALENDAR for Tuesday, September 15 @ 10 AM for a “Meet the CEO” virtual webinar.  I will tell you a little bit about myself, give a brief state of the MLS industry and then open it up for questions.  The registration link will be sent to Brokers to share with their office members as we get closer to the webinar date.

I am honored for being selected to keep realMLS moving in all the right directions.  This organization has been blessed by Ron Stephan’s dedication and knowledge.  With help from all of you we will make him proud and continue his strong MLS legacy well into the future.
