In June, realMLS announced that all data licensing for IDX websites, third-party programs, etc. was transitioning from reDataVault RETS data feed to the FBS Spark API platform.  As of August 15th, realMLS no longer accepts requests for listing data (IDX, VOW, Back Office, etc.) through reDataVault.

Now, your Vendor will request a data license on your behalf in the Spark API Datamart. Both the Broker and Licensee (if applicable) will be asked to authorize the request.

Here is a more detailed look at how this new process works:

    • Your Vendor will be reaching out to you via email to obtain your MLS User ID Number to request a data license.  They will only need your Flexmls LOGIN name. (Do not provide them with your password as it is not required.)
    • Once Spark receives the request, an email will be sent to both the Broker and the Licensee titled “Review Approval Request” from Donotreply@sparkplatform.com. It is vital you watch for an email from this address (and also check your Spam/Junk folders) to ensure you receive your Review Approval Request.
    • When all parties complete the Review Approval Request, the Spark API system will then authorize the data request and the process is complete.

Please ensure the email address you have in Flexmls is a current, working address so that the approval process completes in a timely manner.

If you need further assistance, please email IDX@realmls.com.
