realMLS will soon expand MLS data through a partnership with the Southeast MLS (SEMLS) Alliance Datashare — a collaborative partnership among leading MLSs across the Southeast, including CHS Regional MLS in South Carolina, Georgia MLS in Georgia, Canopy MLS in North Carolina, and Realtracs in Tennessee. This alliance expands listing data access and increases regional visibility.
What This Means to realMLS Customers
Beginning Wednesday, April 15th you will have access to expanded listing data across participating Southeast real estate markets. This additional option in the Data Source field within Flexmls is especially valuable when working with referrals, assisting relocating buyers and sellers, or researching market activity in neighboring states.
How This Differs From Coast 2 Coast?
The Coast 2 Coast MLS Data Share brings together MLS data from St. Augustine & St. Johns County MLS, Daytona Beach MLS, Space Coast MLS, and Hernando County MLS. With aligned data fields that integrate seamlessly with realMLS listing data, the Coast 2 Coast MLS Data Share allows you to search across these five participating markets within the same search.
The Southeast MLS Alliance functions as an additional and separate Data Source within the Flexmls system. It provides expanded regional search capabilities from within Flexmls but should be searched separately from the Data Sources included in the Coast 2 Coast MLS Data Share.
NOTE: Selecting and searching across ALL Data Sources in Flexmls (the five MLSs of the Coast 2 Coast MLS Data Share and the SEMLS Alliance Datashare) is not recommended.
How to Access the Data
Under Quick Search, click on the first field labeled “Data Source.” You will see the five Coast 2 Coast MLS Data Share data sources selected by default.
If you would like to search SEMLS Alliance Datashare listings, simply select the SEMLS Alliance Datashare data source.
When you are finished searching SEMLS Alliance Datashare listings, reverse your selections by re-selecting all five data sources that make up the Coast 2 Coast MLS Data Share to return to searching listings across our Florida market. Remember, the five Coast 2 Coast MLS Data Share MLSs is the default setting for the Data Source field.
