realMLS has recently seen an increase in fraudulent requests to change customer email addresses, phone numbers, and login credentials. While our team carefully verifies and stops suspicious activity, you can take an extra step to protect your account.
Enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds a second layer of security—similar to the verification code you receive when logging into your bank account. It helps ensure only you can access your MLS account.
MFA is currently optional, but it is one of the most effective ways to prevent unauthorized access to your listings and sensitive data.
How to Enable MFA in Flexmls
- Click My Profile under Preferences on the Flexmls menu.
- Click Security.
- In the Multi-Factor Authentication section of the page, click the Enable link. A page describing multi-factor authentication will display. Watch the video to learn more, or click Get Started to proceed with setting up multi-factor authentication.

4. Enter your password to confirm your identity. Click Next.
5. Choose how you want to receive your security code.

If you have a smartphone and want to use an app to receive security codes, click Use a mobile app. If you prefer to receive text messages instead, click Use text message . Log in to Flexmls
After enabling multi-factor authentication, the next time you attempt to log in to Flexmls, you will be sent a verification code via the method they selected. You will be required to enter the verification code in order to log in.

The code resets every 30 seconds. If a user is not able to enter it quickly enough, they can click Send me a new code to get another code. Users can select Remember this browser for 30 days to temporarily not require a code when they log in on the same browser and computer. After 30 days, the user will be required to enter a code again to verify their identity.
Note: The Remember this browser for 30 days check box is tracked via browser cookies. Clearing cookies from your browser will cause you to be prompted for a code again, even if 30 days have not passed.
